She knows better than anyone how difficult and often delicate it is to capture personal stories. In this workshop she reveals how she has approached this in the past and what she has learned about it over the years.
During the workshop she introduces you to a very specific way of interviewing and puts you to work gathering personal stories.

Eva Moeraert is an independent podcast producer and coordinator of the postgraduate podcasting program at Arteveldehogeschool. She made radio documentaries and reports for VRT, but after the success of SERIAL she decided to take a chance and start making podcast series herself. Meanwhile she has her own audio production house (het audio atelier) and lots of successful podcasts to her name like Waarom Wie was mama? En Bruto Nationaal Geluk.
No prior knowledge required. You will need a smartphone with a dictaphone function in order to interview.
Tickets will be free on the day, but if you want to secure entry to the venue, you can book this event for €2.5 or by taking a "pay what you can" day pass.
